The Palace Opens

Hotel Amar Palace opens its doors to guests, inaugurating a new chapter of heritage hospitality on Abu Road. The founding vision: to make every guest feel like royalty.

2010

Wedding Destination

The palace gains renown as Rajasthan's premier wedding destination, hosting its 100th royal wedding — complete with elephant processions and firework celebrations.

2014

Expansion & Renovation

Extensive restoration work on the palace facade, gardens and royal suites. Heritage craftsmen from Jaipur are commissioned to restore original stone jaali screens and frescos.

2017

Fine Dining Launch

The Palace Restaurant is inaugurated, bringing a curated menu of authentic Rajasthani recipes alongside multi-cuisine offerings to our in-house dining experience.

2020

Resort Grounds Expand

The garden resort extends to 26 acres. New open-air event lawns, illuminated pathways and a heritage-themed spa garden are added for guests.

The palace architecture draws deeply from the Rajput school — characterised by soaring arched gateways, ornate jharokha balconies, delicate stone jaali screens and pietra dura inlay work that catches the morning light in extraordinary ways.

Local golden sandstone — the same stone used in Jaisalmer legendary forts — forms the bones of the structure. Craftsmen from traditional families in Jodhpur and Jaipur maintain these artisanal surfaces to this day.
